Fraud Alert! Fraudsters are claiming to be Bank employees!
Dear Customer,
You work hard for your money and the last thing you’d want to do is hand it over to a scammer pretending to be from your Bank. You may receive calls from someone claiming to be a Bank employee. To gain your trust, they may also share their Name or Employee ID and ask for confidential details like OTP, CVV, Card Number or Password.
Be aware:
Bank will never ask for your online banking credentials like OTP (One Time Password), Card Number or CVV. If you receive a request to share the same, do not! In fact, contact the Bank immediately
Bank will never ask for your personal information
Bank will never ask you to transfer money to a different Account for any reason
Bank will never ask you to pay a fee in order to receive a Loan or a Refund
Fraudsters often create a sense of urgency to pressure you into making quick decisions. They might say that your Bank Account is in danger, for you to act quickly. Don’t let urgency cloud your judgement.
Remember, it’s always safer to be cautious and take enough time to verify the legitimacy of any communication claiming to be from the Bank.
Report cyber frauds immediately to National Cyber Crime at cybercrime.gov.in or call their helpline on 1930. ICICI Bank never asks for details related to OTP, PIN and Password. We prioritise the protection and security of your assets.
