It is a cybercrime whereby attackers use the phone line to steal personal information from their targets.   Example of Vishing Fraud       Using a fake phone number, the fraudster pretends to be calling on behalf of your bank.     The fraudster says that there has been an unusual activity on your account and asks you to confirm your bank account details, etc.     This information is then used to commit frauds.   Please report such frauds immediately to the National Cyber Crime portal at cybercrime.gov.in or call the helpline on 1930.
