Submission of Positive Pay details for your cheque related payments

Dear Customer,

Cheque issued from your ICICI Bank Account has been honoured without Positive Pay details.

`Positive Pay' is the feature introduced by RBI, where a customer is required to share the cheque details with the Bank. The `Positive Pay' feature ensures prevention of cheque related frauds in the customer's account.

Further to note that only cheques that are compliant with the `Positive Pay' system, will be accepted under RBI's dispute resolution mechanism.

Hence, we recommend you to submit the Positive Pay details for all your future cheque payments to prevent any fraudulent encashment of cheques and enable you to claim the same, in case of any disputes.
