Dear MS RIDDHI KARWAL (MINOR),
We value your relationship with ICICI Bank.
We would like to bring to your notice that there have been no transactions in the captioned account in the last 21 months. As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, an account that has no activity for a period of 24 months should be classified as dormant.
We request you to transact at least once by cheque, ATM/Debit Card, Internet Banking or through any of our branches within 3 months from the date of this letter to avoid classifying the account as dormant.
What will happen if your account becomes dormant?
In case your account is classified as dormant, we will be unable to process your instructions such as:
- Issuance of a fresh Cheque Book/deliverables
- Renewal of your ATM/Debit Card
- Change of Address
- Cash withdrawal at ATMs
- Transactions through Internet Banking
- Any other Account servicing requests
To reactivate a dormant account, you will need to submit an Account Activation form along with valid identity proof, to the nearest branch.
We also wish to inform you, in case your account balance is reduced to zero after deduction of Monthly Average Balance (MAB) maintenance charges (if applicable), we will be constrained to close your account.
For any clarification or more information, you may call our Customer Care or visit the nearest ICICI Bank branch.
Looking forward to your co-operation in helping us serve you better.
Sincerely,
Pranav Mishra
Head-Liabilities
