Stay alert of frauds during COVID-19!


Safeguard yourself from potential cybercrimes amid COVID-19 outbreak
Dear Customer,

We all are aware of the current situation of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) worldwide. As part of our safety measures, ICICI Bank is also asking our customers to use iMobile or Internet Banking for the services for which they would have visited branch/ contacted the Customer Care.
 
In such a pandemic, when there is a general fear, fraudsters wait for an opportunity like this to break into the systems using different fraudulent methods.
 
Ignore calls from an unknown person that might be asking your banking details in order to receive money from public health organisations or any Government departments.
 
Never instal screen sharing applications if asked by an unknown person. Such apps give access to the fraudster to avail of your confidential information
 
Do not click unknown links asking for your confidential details such as ATM PIN, Internet Banking User ID, password, grid card details, etc.
 
Always download applications from Play Store. Do not instal applications from attachment downloaded from unknown websites or e-mails.
