Stay secure from Phishing

Protect your financial information
Dear Customer,

Greetings from ICICI Bank.

At ICICI Bank, it has always been our endeavour to make your banking experience safe and hassle-free. Please be careful of ‘Phishing’ e-mails.
What is Phishing?

Phishing is a practice of sending e-mails to acquire information such as User ID, Password, One Time Password (OTP), Unique Reference Number (URN), Personal Identification Number (PIN) etc. by fraudsters trying to get your personal and financial details. This information is then used for unauthorised financial transactions in your account. Phishing e-mails and websites have a familiar appearance to deceive customers to think that the sender or website is a Bank/ RBI/ Private Company/ Income Tax Office etc. Eg. Receiving a fraudulent e-mail about E-Filing of IT Return.
Here's an example of a phishing e-mail:
Here is how you can safeguard your account:
Do's
1. Transact only on https website
2. Use anti-virus software
3. Download app only from authorised application or websites
Dont's
1. Open attachment for unknown sources and click on suspicious links
2. Provide your credentials on non-https websites
3. Share confidential banking details with any one claiming to be from the bank
If you receive an e-mail claiming to be from ICICI Bank regarding updating sensitive account information like PIN, password, account number etc. or if you notice any spoofed (duplicate/unofficial) ICICI Bank website, do let us know by writing to us at antiphishing@icicibank.com

Stay secure and transact conveniently.
