I am pleased to share with you ICICI Bank’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for fiscal 2025 — a year that marks our seven-decade journey of building trust and creating value across generations. The Report has outlined the initiatives that the Bank has taken during fiscal 2025 in pursuit of sustainable and responsible growth. Our governance model — built on the pillars of ‘Truth, Trust, and Transparency’ — remained focussed on guiding responsible decision-making and meaningful action for all our stakeholders. We have increased allocation to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to ₹801 crore in fiscal 2025 from ₹519 crore in fiscal 2024, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusive development in our own operations and through initiatives by ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth.   While we have miles to go, here are highlights of our initiatives positively impacting environment and society:     Tree plantation: Planted 49 lakh trees since fiscal 2022, including 12 lakh in fiscal 2025 Water harvesting: Created annual potential of 3,387 crore litres since inception Cancer care: Enhanced our commitment to Tata Memorial Centre to ₹1,800 crore from ₹1,200 crore to set-up three new cancer care facilities in the country Renewable energy: Increased consumption to 9.21 crore kWh in fiscal 2025 from 7.57 crore kWh in fiscal 2024 Paper saving: Saved 2.96 crore sheets of A4-sized paper through digital initiatives, equivalent to saving 2,203 trees Sustainable Financing: Portfolio grew from ₹68,528 crore at March 31, 2024, to ₹90,624 crore at March 31, 2025 Lives impacted: Our collective efforts have impacted the lives of 1.89 crore people across the country Wishing you all the very best.
