As directed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) it is mandatory that all redemptions and switch outs undertaken by Mutual Fund distributors will have a 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) effective from Jun 01, 2022 .

| Register all the folios with MF Central: | | | | a. | Click on the link - ‘Click to view unregistered folios’ | | b. | Select all the folios by clicking on the 1st checkbox (next to the table header - ‘Folio’) | | c. | Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select the relationship (Between the folio owner and the person whose mobile number is to be updated) in the ‘Mobile Relationship’ drop-down | | d. | Below the drop-down an option will be visible to upload the Request Letter. The format can be downloaded by clicking on the available link. Download the format, take a printout, fill in all the details, sign on it and upload the scanned copy | | e. | Post upload, a reference number will be generated and the folios will get registered after verification of the signature. The status of the request can be tracked from the ‘Track Status’ menu | | f. | Post registration of all the folios, mobile updation can be done following the process explained in point 3. | |
